Chloe and Ricky

Dilemma. Who does a photographer book to take his or her wedding photos? In the case of Ricky's marriage to the gorgeous Chloe the answer is two photographers! Firstly his old boss Mike Harrington who got to shoot the actual ceremony and all the formal and important shots. And secondly me, who got to do all the fun stuff and details! Result!!
And what details there were. The reception was held in a marquee in the most beautiful field. A handcarved swing hung from a huge oak overlooking the distant broads. Pimms and cream tea was served up in beautiful vintage china by the Curious Party waitresses, and the british weather did nothing to dampen the smiles...

Chloe and Ricky have dreams that one day they can buy up this run down old house and turn it into a family home.  I hope they do x

Being the middle of July the british summer was up to it's usual tricks and Chloe was beyond freezing!  But a picnic blanket grabbed from a nearby hay bale meant we could keep shooting, and got the cosiest shots.

Yes, I cried... (again).

Sad news from the outside world :(

But inside the party was swinging :)

Ricky made THE most amazing photobooth! I can't wait to get my pic!!

As I left the rain stopped and revealed the most incredible sunset!  As many of the guests were camping I have a feeling this party went long into the night x

  1. Fabulous photos! Love the laid back country vibe of this wedding, you captured it perfectly. Favourite shots include: the kids leaning over the bar, the Pimms & stripey sraws & all the rope swing shots! Also love how rich the b&w shots are :)
