A Curious Wedding Fair 2012

A couple of years back, when I made the decision to step into the world of weddings, I did a bit of research around the wedding fairs.  I nearly gave up on the idea! I'm sure they appeal to many, but I found them soulless, faceless, and frankly depressing.  Carbon copy weddings of fairytale princesses and limos. Ok, so maybe I'm being harsh - but when you see what The Most Curious Wedding Fair has to offer you may get where I'm coming from!
Think stunning, one off, vintage dresses and veils. Invites and cake toppers hand illustrated by art graduates. Wild flowers in bell jars and individually sourced vintage crockery.  Visionary wedding stylists. Amazing, free thinking, hairstylists and make up artists. Fashion shows and tea rooms. And a tattoo artist who will be brandishing the gun on the day... you get the idea!
Becky Hoh-Hale threw her first Curious Wedding Fair last year, and as I had no portfolio to show I offered to shoot the event rather than have a stall.  I had a great day, got some fun shots, and made a few really good friends. So I was so honoured to be asked this time around to shoot the promos. Becky pulled together an amazing team of creatives who I now want to work with every damn day (see below) - we laughed a lot and swore a lot (mostly with excitement) and generally had the best day!  Love you all xx
So here are a few shots from the day. I hope to see you at the fair, this time around I get to hold a stall at both the Norwich (11 Feb) and London (31 March) shows so please *please* come say hello.  And if you think you fit the bill and want to join the parade, email Becky on rebecca@amostcuriousparty.co.uk ...quick! x

  5. Extremely beautiful photo session of the wedding fair. My sister has organized a reception party for her brother in law at one of best reviewed San Francisco wedding venues next month. Hope she manages everything well to impresses everyone.
