February, St Albans, time to kick off wedding season 2012 :)
Okay, it may have rained, rained... and rained a little bit more, but if I would have had the choice I couldn't have chosen a nicer bunch, a more relaxed day, and a lovelier couple to have started my year off with!
Needless to say after a couple of months off I felt nervous and excited about getting back to work, but having already met up with Zoe and Richard a few weeks previous I knew we were going to have fun. And have fun we did! They explained to me before hand that their wedding location 'wasn't the prettiest... but it's where we went to school, which is where we met and where fell in love... we couldn't really do it anywhere else'. Quite right too.
A lot of colour, a lot lot lot of music (even Zoe sang a humorous song she wrote for Richard), a huge take away curry, a request for guests to provide puddings (there was SO much pudding!!) and possibly the funniest best man speech I've ever heard - I was crying with laughter! Thank you Mr & Mrs Manders... you've set the benchmark for what I feel is going to be a great year x
